Tips and tricks

What do you know that might help everyone do things faster or more efficiently?

• SEARCHING CASE NOTE OR CONTACT LIST: press F3 and type in the name, it will highlight and bring you to the character string you're typing.
• All cross-community referrals to the other Contact agencies can be sent directly via EMHware.
• Have two of the child's file open at once, one on each screen. One to have your open contact note or case data form you're working on, the other for perusing the file. Drag and drop info into your working form, you can do this with almost anything in EMH.
• Quickly add date and/or time to a case note: In the Case Note tool bar, directly below the word, "Paragraph," there is a Calendar icon and Clock icon. Click on this and it will enter the date or time into your text.
